People For Peace was founded in 1996, with Clare
Heaton
and Maureen Lynch answering a call from within the school
community for trained conflict resolution specialists.
Clare and Maureen trained with the Conflict
Resolution Network, and over a period of time developed a set of
conflict resolution techniques that could be used for schools and
school students.
People For Peace have developed a complete conflict
resolution course for teachers, and have released it in the format of a
book - Managing Conflict with Confidence.
